18th Annual Provincial Conference on Palliative and End-of-Life Care

April 13-15, 2008, Toronto, Ontario

This year’s Provincial Conference on Palliative and End-of-Life Care (a partnership of OPCA and Humber College) was held at the Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre. 

Preliminary feedback indicates that the workshops and plenary sessions were very good to excellent, in part because there were choices for all health care professionals, volunteers and managers. 

OPCA held the first (of what we hope will be an annual event) Silent Auction on Monday, April 14.  A small but select array of quality items attracted many bidders with some healthy competition amongst them.

The staff from Humber College, led by Teresa Sottile, did their usual splendid job in organizing and managing the conference on-site.
